The Many Shades of Sugar

By: Jose Maldonado

It's been a long season for riders who have been battling it out in the Life Time Grand Prix. At this point of the season, the body and mind struggle to keep it all together for the final stage of the series. It's only fitting the competitive finale for most will end at the Life Time Big Sugar Gravel event in the self-proclaimed mountain bike capital of the world, Bentonville, Arkansas. Our final gathering place. We're all here to celebrate and revel in what we saw, what we did, the folks we met, and what we're going to do...next year.

This time of year in NWA, temperatures rarely fall below 52°F or exceed 84°F. The valleys pop with gold, red, and orange hues and serve as a beautiful backdrop for one of the biggest weeks of events in the Bentonville area.
Now here's a look back at last year and some of the people, places and things you may have seen if you were in Bentonville. Enjoy.
